Sorry it’s been so long. I’ve been working away here on many projects and just trying to survive the day-to-day. My zest for life has recently been reinvigorated by my graduation from the University of Denver. During my capstone presentation I received amazing feedback and some much needed prodding. The developer of the Animals in Human Health program–and overall expert on the human-animal bond–strongly suggested that I take my stress-reduction program to the National Institutes of Health and to the American Cancer Society. He also encouraged me to start writing a book similar to Walk a Hound, Lose a Pound but geared towards stress-reduction. I honestly expected my program to get a luke-warm reception but I was clearly wrong. People enjoyed it and now I know that I need to take it to the next level. Finishing up my capstone truly did give me the confidence I needed to go forward in this new, uncharted field and make my mark. Watch out world! If you have any questions about what I do feel free to contact me.
